Mantrailing is a specialised search and rescue (SAR) or sport activity where a dog is trained to follow the unique scent trail of a specific person. Unlike tracking, which follows ground disturbances, mantrailing focuses on the human scent dispersed in the environment.

Take a breath. Slow your pace. This is your time.

Mindful Mooch is a gentle, grounding class designed for dog parents who want to reconnect with themselves and their dogs through calm, mindful walks in nature. Inspired by the principles of forest bathing, this session is ideal for those with reactive or hard-to-walk dogs or anyone feeling overwhelmed by life.

Unlock Your Dog’s Natural Talent:
This introductory class is designed to teach you and your dog the foundations of scent-based tracking in a calm, supportive environment. Whether you’re completely new or just curious about what tracking involves, this session will guide you through the basics step by step. Great as an added Mantrailing or trail hunt skill.

No previous experience needed. This class is suitable for all breeds and energy levels. We work at the dog’s pace and focus on creating a positive, rewarding experience for both ends of the lead.

This workshop blends the gentle, mindful techniques of Tellington TTouch with the practical, observational approach of ACE Freework to help you better understand your dog’s needs, movement, and emotional state.

Using these two powerful approaches together, we’ll explore:
• How to use calm, purposeful touch to build trust and reduce tension
• How dogs communicate through posture, movement, and behaviour
• How to spot subtle changes that reveal physical or emotional discomfort
• Ways to support your dog’s self-regulation, confidence, and body awareness

Trail ID, within the UK Scent Sport framework, is a scent work discipline where dogs learn to follow a specific human’s scent trail to locate and identify that person. It’s a type of trailing that focuses on scent discrimination, requiring the dog to identify a particular person’s unique scent and follow it, even amidst other scents.
